CDN & Detector

Identify CDN and Firewall providers for any website.

What is CDN detection?

A CDN Detector is a tool that identifies whether a website is using a Content Delivery Network (CDN) and determines which CDN is delivering the website's content. A CDN is a distributed network of servers located in different geographic locations that helps deliver website content faster by serving it from the server closest to the user. The detector analyzes a website's DNS records, IP addresses, response headers, and network routing patterns to determine if traffic is passing through a CDN provider such as Cloudflare, Akamal Technologies or Amazon Web Services. This helps users understand how a website improves performance, security, and reliablity by distributing content accross multiple servers.

How Does CDN & Detector Work?

A CDN Detector works by analyzing a website’s network and server information to determine whether its content is being delivered through a Content Delivery Network (CDN). When a URL is entered, the tool checks the website’s DNS records, IP address ranges, response headers, and routing patterns. Many CDN providers use identifiable server signatures, unique IP ranges, or specific HTTP headers that reveal their presence. By comparing this data with known CDN provider patterns, the detector can identify if the website is using services from providers like Cloudflare, Akamai Technologies, or Amazon Web Services. This helps determine how the website distributes its content to improve loading speed, reliability, and security.
